Plain Direct Thermal Labels

Direct thermal labels are made with a heat sensitive material and are printed without a ribbon. They are printed by applying heat to the thermal print head and where heat is applied the label turns dark creating the image. These are also called shipping labels, scale labels, zebra labels and citizen labels.

We can produce these in direct thermal eco for short term use or on top coated direct thermal for more durability and longer lasting labels. Direct thermal labels can be any size required and we carry a large stock of standard regularly used sizes on the shelf for same day or next day manufacture and despatch.

Our direct thermal labels can be used in thermal labels printers such as Citizen, Zebra, Godex, Toshiba Tec, Datamax-O Neil and Intermec. We can supply these on small rolls 1 across for smaller desktop printers or in larger rolls and even 2 or 3 across for larger industrial label printers. We can tint the direct thermal material to give you a coloured direct thermal label, and regularly supply pink, yellow, blue, green, red and orange direct thermal labels.

Plain Thermal Transfer Labels

Thermal Transfer labels are produced when a ribbon is used to run between the label and the print head to print the image required.

These are regularly used in industries such as food, retail, logistics and pharmaceutical and we can produce these in any shape and size and also in materials such as matt white paper, semi gloss paper and polypropylene.

Again we have large stocks of these on the shelf ready for immediate despatch or can produce these for you same day or within 24 to 48 hours.
